This apartment is a beautiful Victorian mansion block, located in the heart of Knightsbridge. It forms part of the Crown Estate, and occupies a fantastic position with direct views into Hyde Park.

FT Architects were asked to refurbish one of the apartments, which had previously been in the same ownership for over 50 years. We started by replanning the internal layout, and by raising the height of all the internal doors, to flood the interior with light. We upgraded the fabric of the apartment, with new glazing and enhanced sound insulation; renewed all mechanical and electrical services; overlaid traditional architectural features and applied a pale and elegant palette throughout.
